Postgraduate Research Opportunities
| Exeter Climate
Systems is a rapidly growing centre of excellence,
specialising in the development and application of mathematics and
statistics for weather and climate science. Our PhD programme is
integral to the Centre's research, affording students the opportunity
to work and become experts in some of the key areas in the field,
including fluid dynamics, climate dynamics, numerical methods,
dynamical systems, data assimilation, probabilistic forecasting,
spatial statistics and extreme-value theory. Our PhD students also
receive excellent training
opportunities and research resources.
If you are interested in studying for a PhD at Exeter Climate Systems then please look at our current list of projects and staff interests. Once you have identified some projects that excite you, or a supervisor with whom you would like to work, feel free to contact the appropriate members of staff to discuss things further. If you decide to apply for a place then please refer to our information on funding, entry requirements and the application process. We look forward to hearing from you!
