Interests of the institute are led by Prof David Zhang and include agile and lean enterprises, configurable manufacturing systems, supply chain modelling, OR for multi-level inventory and supply chain optimisation, intelligent multi-agent systems, business systems modelling, concurrent engineering, digital enterprise, rapid manufacturing and automation.
